Tampa, FL, December 21st, 1995 - Image Graphic Systems, the Tampa-based leader in CD ROM based imaging systems for public utilities and county agencies, this week delivered to Bryan Kelner, the Lee County Florida Zoning Manager, a powerful and cost effective CD ROM solution for storing and retrieving zoning resolutions and hearings.
Bryan Kelner, of Lee County indicates "we were looking for new methods to allow the county staff to function more efficiently, while better serving the public. We previously had to look up a film roll number in a catalog, pull the microfilm, load it in a reader, and then research the information for the client. We now have 32 years of information on two compact disks (CDs) and we can retrieve the same information in a matter of seconds, as opposed to 30 minutes under the old method. We are also making this information available to realtors, attorneys, planners, and developers by allowing them to purchase a copy of the data on CDs". Mr. Kelner went on to further state that "this new system will reduce the number of people that will need to come into our offices to retrieve this information, while realizing increased staff efficiency".
Richard Smith, President of Image Graphic Systems, indicates that several new imaging solutions and services will be unveiled at the upcoming DistribuTECH Conference in Tampa. Image Graphic Systems has also provided unique and effective imaging solutions to Hillsborough County, as well as Sprint United Telephone, People's Gas, Florida Power & Light, and Florida Power.
